About us
We vow to be really and truly different from other mental health providers. The mental health field presents barriers not just for clients and the community, but also for the helpers, therapists, and creatives who do this work. We knew that if we wanted to be truly different, we would have to problem-solve barriers in the field at all levels. Our core values drive all that we do, and help us align with our “why”. We do what we do because it makes sense, and because of science, of course. An abundance of research says that taking intentional time to help your mental health increases your overall wellbeing and life satisfaction. Our services are an opportunity for your brain to take a break. A break that includes support from a professional secret keeper who will ride with you on your emotional journey and offer guidance along the way. Our core values ensure that all of our actions from the impactful connections between clients and therapists to the big business decisions align with our goal of providing innovative mental health services that fill a gap in our communities. We are excited to expand the Ellie model to Colorado and the Denver region. Our first location will be opening in the DTC / Greenwood Village area in late summer 2022. She has worked in different inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings over the last decade and is comfortable with a variety of presenting challenges including depression, anxiety, difficult life transitions, grief and loss, patterns of addiction, eating disorders, trauma, postpartum anxiety and depression, and navigating the challenges of parenthood. Working with adults and teens, her psychodynamic, trauma-informed approach is a good fit for someone who is interested in developing their understanding of themselves and how their beliefs and actions may be impacting their experiences.

Based on the forecast for improving weather and road conditions, we will be opening the Ellie Mental Health DTC clinic for the option of in-person care at noon today. If you have not yet discussed with your provider, please contact them soon to make the mutual decision on in-person care, virtual care, or rescheduling. We want our clients and providers to stay safe and make the decision that feels the best for them.

🌨️ DENVER TECH CENTER CLINIC CLOSED FOR IN-PERSON CARE - THROUGH NOON, FRIDAY MARCH 15TH 🌨️ Due to the continued heavy snow, our clinic will remain closed for in-person care through at least noon tomorrow, Friday March 15th. If you are scheduled to come into our clinic tomorrow morning, please contact your provider to convert to virtual care or reschedule. We will monitor conditions and make a decision tomorrow morning if we will open as planned at noon, or need to remain closed for in-person care for the day. Stay safe and warm! ☃️

The developmental and cultural shift entering middle school is often jarring for preteens. Our new Middle School Prep group will address self-identity, bullying, picking friends, relationships, social media and more - using CBT, DBT and life skills building. This group is for 5th and 6th graders starting middle school and will meet once per month on Saturdays in our Denver Tech Center clinic. Contact us for more information!
