We had an HVAC guy out and he was very helpful. Then, we needed help with electrical. We had an appointment booked and the electrician called on the day the appointment was booked, saying we had to reschedule. He couldn't come out for another week but we decided to wait and he did come out. He was very helpful.
Next, we had a flood in our crawl space and called Heart. They said they would be out in a couple days. They called on the day they were supposed to be over and cancelled for the next week. We decided to figure things out and waited for the next week. They cancelled again. This was a hardship as the leak was due to our washing machine and we couldn't do laundry. We ended up having to call another company who was more reliable.
We called and complained and were told twice that a manager would call us back. That never happened. We did get a full refund, but we're honestly so disappointed with the customer service. If they would have tried to make it right, we would have continued being a customer. Heart clearly doesn't value their customers and we can't recommend them. They have great technicians on their team that are friendly and helpful, but the customer service is non-existent.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - RJ A.Denver, CO2151Nov 1, 2023
Heart has always been AMAZING when they have been at our house. Great employees, helpful phone staff, and a fair price for work done. Sure, I could have bought the parts myself for a lot less and tried to fix it myself, but with their lifetime warranty, I won't have to worry about paying to repair something that breaks a few years down the road.
If you want it done cheap, do it yourself. Want it done right? Hire a professional and pay them what they are worth. And Heart is worth what I paid them.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 22, 2022

My furnace started struggling the day before so I communicated with this company on Thumbtack by addressing the issues first. And a technician came out to my house within the next 24 hours. Appointment setting with them was super easy and quick.
My technician, Trey, was excellent. Although he was friendly enough, he focused on the task at hand and didn't spend too much time on chitchatting with me. He was at my house for about 30 minutes.
Fortunately for me, it (the furnace) required a little TLC from a professional like Trey. He fixed the root cause of the issue (dirty flame sensor); not only that he checked to ensure that my furnace was in good shape for other areas. He even gave me a filter at no cost. And all this cost me only $39! I was truly happy with that!
Yes, I will hire them for any/all furnace/AC/plumbing needs/issues in the future. This is an amazing company that truly cares about the safety operations of your HVAC system!!Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0Business owner information

I had a flooded basement and the soonest Heart could come out was the following morning, so I made a 7am to 12pm appointment. At 11am I called to make sure they were still on their way. They said that they weren't able to make it and the soonest they could come out was the day after- disregarding that I had a flooded basement and an appointment. So after no call, no show, they wanted me to make another 4 hour appointment block. Waste of time, and my basement is a disaster because we weren't able to call another plumber. Absolutely ridiculous unprofessional behavior.
Update 5/15/23- after about an hour this review went up, suddenly someone was available within the hour . The guy did a great job, but the prices were extremely high. I would advise on getting a second opinion before choosing any contractor like this.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Eric Y.Denver, CO914Sep 15, 2023
i was overcharged for a simple sunday under sink fix and stupidly agreed to a maintenance contract to check my heating. i was rescheduled no less than 7 times for a free check that never happened. Technicians never called and at the 11th hour it was always someone got sick can we reschedule. i called to ask for a prorated refund but the check is still in the mail. i had to call them after they said they would call and two weeks later...nada.. i would skip this company entirely. They absolutely fail to deliver on their promises and while it may be a staffing issue they simply do not follow through on anything. If i could give zero stars... i would.

Bait and switch. We ordered a high end furnace caught them installing a cheaper one. The technician admitted they were going to switch out the manufacturers name plate.
Normal practice for them apparently.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - J C.Broomfield, CO031Mar 12, 2023
RUN AWAY! We met with Heart to get an estimate for reconnecting our dishwasher and installing a new disposal at the end of our kitchen remodel. I would never use this company again for the following reasons:
1) Bait and Switch (hostage)- once they got onsite they said they were going to charge an extra $1000 for the exact same work they had quoted 60 days earlier (100% increase!).
2) They sent a "plumber" who had no idea what he was doing. It felt like he had watched a couple of YouTube training videos before landing onsite. He was a nice guy, unfortunately clueless and at our house for hours!
3) He smashed and bent in the lower panel of the dishwasher reinstalling it. We had to replace it 3 weeks later.
4) Our plumbing continues to hum for 5-10 minutes after running the water due to air left in the lines (we made no other plumbing changes)
5) Our new disposal leaks
6) Heart left a long (4-5 ft. under the sink) dishwasher connection hose which is in the way and will get punctured at some point .
We feel so lucky to have had wonderful contractors for our remodel except for Heart!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Caitlin N.Denver, CO423Dec 6, 2022
Our water heater stopped working. The Heart tech took ~30 seconds with the appliance before saying it was a hopeless situation, broken beyond repair, was installed poorly and we'd need a whole new appliance. Proceeded to quote a wild installation price and basically said anything else that was attempted would be a waste of time.
Booked a different plumbing company which replaced the control valve and had the appliance fixed in less than an hour for a low cost.
I've had mixed experiences with Heart over the past year & a half and will definitely not be calling back. Pretty sure in hindsight that other services we used Heart for were really overpriced and they were taking advantage of my naivety as a new home owner. Not cool.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jason M.Parker, CO020Jan 4, 2024
Started as an annual checkup with one of their technicians, Ruben. Ruben was very polite, very thorough, very friendly, and very professional. He pointed out some concerns with our HVAC unit which is 19 years old so we were anticipating having to replace it. Ruben walked the house noting returns and vents, did some magical mathematics and gave us three options for replacement systems. All were reasonably priced and the offered financing to include 18 months no interest. Long story short, Heart Heating and Plumbing is the only company I will use in the future. Their prices were significantly lower than two other bids we had and they use Lennox brand equipment so you know it's top quality. There were other perks too. But the thing I'll remember the most was how friendly, professional, and caring the entire company was from start to finish. The install guys were great too, can't say enough about this company and on top of it all they are Veteran owned and operated! Highly recommend!!

Stay away from this company. They never pulled a permit on the installation of our hot water heater. A permit is required, so now we cannot get the hot water heater inspected by the county. We have no idea whether it was done correctly or not. No one will return our calls or text messages. Our only remedy is to either sue them or pull the permit in our name and take responsibility for the installation.
They say they offer a warranty on their work, I wouldn't believe anything they promise.
Buyer beware!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
