Experience Required:

Job Description:
The Operating Room Nurse provides direct patient care in a surgical setting in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Monitors and manages the patient and operative environment during surgery to maintain a safe environment, optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
Experience Required:
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Experience: One year perioperative nursing experience or successful completion of a perioperative course Certification(s):  BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association with at least 6 months left before expiration is required upon hire. Job Description:
The Surgical Technician is a certified clinician who provides intra-operative technical assistance to physicians and Registered Nurses (RN) who care for patients experiencing a surgical intervention or other invasive procedure. The Certified Technician actively participates in the work of the unit, committee work, and program level activities and projects and role models exemplary work standards.
Experience Required:
Education:  Associate’s degree in surgical technology is required. Equivalency:  Graduate of a military training program in surgical technology or Diploma in Surgical Technology and Surgical Technologist certification may be considered in lieu of an Associate’s degree. Certification(s):  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at the time of hire.  Surgical Technologist certification, preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire) Licensure(s):  Registration as a Certified Surgical Technologist in the State of Colorado is required.
